Emily Henderson, LMFT
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) Candidate, I am passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families in navigating life’s challenges. I have a deep commitment to building a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship, empowering clients to achieve their personal, relational, and emotional goals. I work with clients across the lifespan, from ages 12 and up, and specialize in a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, trauma, communication issues, boundary setting, and sexual health.
I take great joy in working with both individuals and couples, helping them to heal, grow, and develop stronger, healthier relationships. My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy. I am also trained in the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, which I frequently use to support couples in building lasting connections.
I believe in the profound connection between mind and body, and I strive to integrate this philosophy into both my personal and professional life. Outside of therapy, I stay active through activities like yoga, pickleball, and running (though, I admit, my jogging tends to be on the gentler side). I also enjoy reading, exploring new activities, and spending time with my friends or my cat.
If you are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and personalized approach to therapy, I would be honored to support you in your journey toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
